Rule card
Territorial.io
You start as a small patch of colour on a map you share with many rivals. Rounds are short, and a lost one costs you nothing but a few minutes.
1Own the map
Hold more of the map than anyone else. A round ends when one colour owns most of it, or when the clock of the match says so.
2Choosing a quiet corner
Pick a starting spot away from the crowd, then watch your patch grow on its own. Attacks are launched by clicking a neighbour, and the slider sets what share of your troops goes into the push. Spend too much early and your own borders thin out.
3Why one more round
The map is readable at a glance, so you always know why you lost. Short rounds make one more try easy to justify.
4Ads and extras, plus public names
The game is free and ads sit around it. Check its own page for any paid extras before you pay for anything. Names are public on the map, so pick one you'd be fine with strangers reading.
5Suits border readers
People who like quick rounds and reading borders. Less so anyone after a story or a base to decorate. It won't wait for you either.
6Click-only controls
Runs in a desktop browser and on phones. Clicking is enough, no keyboard needed.
